SEMINYAK
Landing in Denpasar, we’ll meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in bustling Seminyak. Meet up with your travel crew and get excited for the adventures to come.
SEMINYAK
Today’s all about soaking in the local culture as we pay a visit to the ancient temples in Uluwatu, then take part in a Bahasa language lesson and learn how to create a Canang Sari (a local offering). As sunset falls we’ll sip drinks and eat dinner at one of Uluwatu's trendiest beach clubs, then head back to Seminyak for more after dark fun.
CANGGU
Our last morning in Seminyak will be spent hitting the waves, where you’ll learn to surf with the help of local Balinese instructors. We’ll then head on to one of the world’s most iconic surfing destinations, Canggu, where your sleek boutique hotel awaits. Dig your toes into the volcanic sand, or just chill out poolside with a few fruity sundowners.
LOVINA
Lovina will steal your heart with its rolling rice paddies and smiley welcome. We’ll squeeze in some temple exploring and a dip in a waterfall before arriving at our unique accommodation, in the mountains with infinity pool views of rice paddies. The next day it’s all aboard a traditional outrigger boat as we cruise on the lookout for wild dolphins. We’ll then visit a local family where you’ll get a unique insight into Balinese life.
GILI T
Crystal clear waters and swaying palm trees are on the agenda as we catch the fast ferry to Gili T, the largest of the three Gili Islands. With a free afternoon feel yourself slipping easily into island time, Bintang in hand, before a night out island style. The next day we’ll explore the island on two wheels, beach hopping from one sandy shore to the next before capturing an epic sunset over the ocean.
GILI T
Travelling by boat, we’ll explore the beauty of the Gili Islands, stopping along the way for plenty of snorkel breaks to spot turtles and other colourful marine life. The following day we say goodbye to paradise, the chilled out cultural Mecca of Ubud awaits as we travel back to the mainland by ferry.
UBUD
You’ve seen the pictures, now experience Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest for real! A centuries old temple overrun by monkeys, today’s your chance to check out these mischievous primates. We'll then learn how to cook some of Bali’s best dishes.
UBUD
It’s an early start this morning as we head out for a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise trek. Joined by a Local Guide, hike up an active volcano and summit just as the sun peaks over the horizon for breakfast with a view. This afternoon relax and un-wind with a traditional Balinese massage.
NUSA LEMBONGAN
Famed for its azure waters and laid back approach to life, we have a feeling you’ll fall hard for this breezy, beautiful island, especially when you catch a glimpse of our luxury beachside hotel. Much of Nusa Lembongan’s charm lies in its secluded bays and underwater life, which is why we’ll be exploring by boat. Keep your snorkel at the ready as we cruise on the look out for manta rays. We’ll then show you some of our favourite spots for views that show off the island at its very best.
SEMINYAK
Waving goodbye to Nusa Lembongan, we’ll make our way back to where it all began, Seminyak, for a farewell dinner and final group night out. Those flying home will make their way to the airport on the final day, or keep living the dream and extend your stay in Bali with our help and the new friends you’ve made.
Making a positive difference to the amazing destinations we travel is at the core of what we do. Small Change is our own socially conscious initiative aimed at making the world that little bit better place to explore!
Check out the #SmallChange you'll be part of while doing this tour. Click hereThe great thing about Bali is it’s usually quite hot all year round, so it’s great to go at any time. There are generally 2 broad seasons in Bali. April to September is usually dry and hot. October to March is slightly cooler with a slightly higher chance of rain, but this rain is often only for an hour or so, which can be a nice relief from the heat.
This trip features a more premium standard of accommodation of approx. 4 star standard, whilst also including a slightly more rural experience up close and personal with nature in bungalows in the mountains of Lovina.
Journey times in Bali are very dependent on the traffic and subject to change at any moment due to the small roads nestled between rice paddies, volcanic mountain ranges and bustling cities. 30km distances may take up to 2 hours in our minibus. Bringing a neck pillow might make your journey more comfortable!
Indonesia is home to delicious authentic local foods such as Nasi/Mie Goreng and Babi Guling however western food is available throughout the trip. Due to the organic way food is produced in Indonesia, without the use of chemicals, you may be exposed to bacteria your body is not use to and have a usually mild but possibly uncomfortable digestive reaction. There is generally no need to worry, and your group leader will be able to advise you on the best treatment. Any issues usually last no more than 24-48 hours.
Bali Experience is the upgraded version of Bali Intro. Similar itinerary but with some exclusive activities, more meals and upgraded accommodation.
