Passport holders from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and some other select countries are not required to have a visa when entering South Africa for an intended stay of 90 days or less. You will need at least 6 months remaining validity and 2 blank pages in your passport. Citizens of other countries are required to obtain a Visitor’s Visa, but it’s always best to check with your government for official travel advice. It’s also recommended to have onward travel booked out of South Africa before travelling there, as you may get asked for proof of this before boarding your flight to South Africa.
