The Ultimate INTRO-Traveller Approved Packing List!
When it comes down to what you should pack for your INTRO trip, it mostly depends on the time of year and how long you are headed for. Read on for all the answers and insider tips!
1. OUR GENERIC INTRO PACKING LIST
These items are a MUST bring for your trip:
- Passport & flight tickets
- Arrival information
- Travel insurance documents
- Drivers license or ID
- Credit card & cash
- Padlock for your bag
- Phone & charger with correct adapter
- Power Bank (optional, if you decide to bring this we recommend not bringing a large one (over 20,000 mAh) as it may be taken off you at the airport)
- Comfy Trainers / walking shoes
- Appropriate temple attire (covered shoulders, chest & knees) (this applies to Bali, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Japan)
- Toiletries & medication
- Refillable water bottle (psst. you can buy an INTRO one off us during your trip)
2. PACKING FOR THE SUN
Heading somewhere warmer for your INTRO trip and unsure what to pack? As well as the items on our generic packing list, we also recommend bringing the following:
- Casual Summer clothes
- Light rain jacket
- Flip flops/sandals
- Swimwear & a towel
- Sunglasses & sunscreen
- Sea-sickness tablets (this is mostly for those doing Croatia Sail Adventure)
- Insect repellant
3. PACKING FOR THE COLDER MONTHS
For those heading somewhere like Australia, New Zealand or Japan during Winter, you'll want to make sure you're prepared for some colder weather!
- Casual Winter clothes
- Warm Jacket
- Flip flops/sandals
- Winter accessories (beanie, gloves, thermals)

Finally, we asked you guys to give us your BEST packing tips. Tried and tested, these will truely make you feel prepared for your travels:
- Neck Pillow for any bus journeys
- Underwater camera bag for the ultimate Insta-pics
- A universal adaptor, so you don't need to carry multiple if your heading to different countries
- A small microfibre travel towel - this is a great space-saving tip!
- A mini USB fan that also chargers your phone (yes, these exist, and are a great tip for the warmer destinations!)
- Packing Cubes - another great space-saver
- A belt bag/bum bag to carry your things - a super safe and secure way of carrying small belongings around day-to-day!
